The year is 840 A.D.  The Viking invasion of Ireland has paused on the shores of Lough Neagh, a freshwater lake.  A combined force has set up a base from which to raid the rich monasteries which lie inland.  But in such close proximity, rivalries long dormant rise to the surface.  Two Landsmenn have finally come to open conflict, pitting their troops against each other in the hopes of claiming the title of Jarl of a newly conquered region.
